This version of CLASSIC NUMBER ONE is made from full-grain leather in Violet Ink — a deep ink-violet colour complemented by deep red Red Currant accents. Hand-dyeing with a patina effect adds depth to the colour and expands the ways the briefcase can be combined with casual, smart-casual, or business wardrobes.

CLASSIC NUMBER ONE interprets the quiet luxury aesthetic through a classic formal briefcase with a flap-over closure and rigid double-gusset construction. Precise proportions, natural leather, thoughtful interior organization, and restrained brass hardware support its traditional business character and pair naturally with classic tailoring. At the same time, saturated, unconventional colors take the briefcase beyond a conservative wardrobe and allow it to serve as a distinctive accent in more relaxed looks built around the balance of composure and nonchalance associated with Italian sprezzatura.

The two main sections are divided by a functional partition with soft shock-absorbing padding and a zipper along the top. It is designed for a laptop, tablet, or important documents. The textile elements are made from 100% high-density cotton.

The partition incorporates thoughtful internal organization: a phone pocket, card slots, a pen holder, several pockets for small items, a long cord with a brass carabiner that can be used for keys, and a snap-tab that secures items within the upper access area.

The briefcase body is made from dense, extra-thick leather. For this model, the reverse side of the leather has deliberately been left exposed to emphasize the natural character of the material and pay tribute to traditional English briefcases made from English bridle leather. The interior surface is pleasant to the touch, the number of internal seams has been carefully minimized, and the lock mounting is concealed. This construction allows the material's natural character to be experienced more fully.

The multilayer handle is built from vegetable-tanned leather, hand-wrapped in calf leather, tightly stitched, and molded. This complex process gives the handle a firm, cohesive structure that feels pleasant to the touch and remains comfortable during use. The mounting screws are additionally hand-polished to a mirror finish.

The detachable auxiliary shoulder strap is made from vegetable-tanned bridle leather, offers a wide range of length adjustment, and has polished edges. The strap makes everyday routines easier, but to preserve the visual aesthetic of the outfit, we still recommend carrying the briefcase by hand.
